FONAR SELLS AND INSTALLS 14th UPRIGHT MRI IN FLORIDA WITH FIRST CUSTOMER IN TAMPA CUSTOMER EXPECTS TO PURCHASE SECOND MRI WITHIN THE YEAR MELVILLE, NEW YORK, September XX, 2005 - FONAR Corporation (NASDAQ-FONR), The MRI Specialist™, announced today that it has sold and installed an Upright™ MRI in Tampa, Florida. The sale and installation of the Upright™ MRI is the first in the city of Tampa and the 14th in Florida.
