Job description
- ▪Perform set-ups & manufacture first piece
- ▪Read & understand specs & drawings
- ▪Perform 1st piece inspection
- ▪Follow verbal & written instructions to plan machine set up
- ▪Select correct tools & make necessary adjustment including speeds & feeds
- ▪Produce quality machined parts
- ▪Strictly follow job safety requirements and procedures which include machine guarding, forklift truck & hoist operation and housekeeping requirements
- ▪Measure & inspect parts for quality & adherence to specifications
- ▪Able to edit existing programs as necessary
- ▪Capability of imputing programs into control from hard copy or PC
- ▪Monitor tools during operation for wear & breakage
- ▪Capable of reading micrometers and veneers
- ▪Work with Fanuc Controls
Requirements:
- ▪3 year min experience OR completion of a 1 or 2 year tool technology or related coursework
- ▪Familiarity with CNC set up and running machines
- ▪HS Diploma or equivalent
- ▪Ability to communicate and have technical discussions in English
- ▪Hours are 730 - 4pm M-F
- ▪Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprint drawings, documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure
manuals
- ▪Ability to multi task *Basic math ability including working with and converting between fractions and decimals.
8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Title: Technical Support Specialist
Position Type: Full-Time/Evening, Some Weekends Required
Primary Location: Melville, New York
Description: Technical Support Engineer to provide telephone
support to Customers and Service Engineers
Duties and Responsibilities:
- ▪Provide technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of MRI system equipment
- ▪Make decisions about when to dispatch Service Engineers based on the severity of the problem and customer interactions
- ▪Document all Customer Support Operations related activity in Service Records Database for traceability purposes
- ▪Follow up with customers when necessary to confirm resolution of problems
- ▪Other duties and projects as may be assigned
Required Skills:
- ▪Associate or Bachelor Degree in Electronics or related field and/or equivalent
- ▪experience Experience working in technical support or customer service environment
- ▪Be able to explain and interpret complex information that requires patience and understanding
- ▪English proficiency required
- ▪Good verbal, written communication and critical thinking skills
- ▪Work with others and independently
- ▪Communicate with co-workers and supervisors
- ▪Valid driver´s license
